Murrindindi Inc. President Brad Quilliam
The inaugural Murrindindi Inc Annual General Meeting was held at the Mount Pleasant Hotel in Alexandra on 18 November 2014. The Meeting was openend by member for Eildon, Cindy McLeish.
Murrindindi Inc president, Brad Quilliam presented the achievements of Murrindindi Inc over the past 12 months. Brad’s presentation included an outline of the structure of Murrindindi Inc, priorities of the association, key strengths, goals, challenges and future direction. Brad was also pleased to announce that the FRRR funded Murrindindi Inc website was now live and encouraged everyone to visit the site and welcomed any feedback on the resource.
An election of the 2014 Murrindindi Inc committee took place and newly elected members were congratulated by the guest speaker for the evening, Fran Bailey – Chair of Goulburn River Valley Tourism. Fran gave a very engaging speech about her experiences as a member of parliament including some very interesting stories from her time as the minister for tourism.
Fran spoke of her role with Goulburn River Valley Tourism and her decision to take on the role of chair as her way of giving back to the region. Fran believes the area has a lot of untapped potential and said that there is strength in the many examples of collaboration.

The 2014 Murrindindi Inc Annual General Meeting was a resounding success, attendees stayed on to share some good food, wine and enjoyable company.
